Chalco Initiates Construction of New Energy High-Precision Aluminum Plate/Sheet Project in Yunnan

Recently, Chalco's aluminum foil new energy high-precision plate/sheet, strip and foil project commenced construction in the Qidian Industrial Park in Yunnan. The project has a total investment of 2.103 billion yuan, a total area of 423 mu, and a total building area of over 190,000 m². The project is expected to begin full-scale construction in Q1 2025 and is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2026 or early 2027. Upon completion, the project will have an annual capacity of 170,000 mt of new energy high-precision aluminum plate/sheet, strip and foil, with an estimated annual output value exceeding 4 billion yuan.
