[JA Solar Technology, Jinko Solar, and Others Shortlisted as Winning Candidates for the PV Module Pre-Selected Supplier Pool of Guangzhou High-Tech Zone Modern Energy Group] On December 17, the winning candidates for the PV module pre-selected supplier pool project of Guangzhou High-Tech Zone Modern Energy Group were announced. The shortlisted companies include JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Risen Energy Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., TrinaSolar Co., Ltd., and Tongwei Co., Ltd. (Polaris Solar PV Network)

On December 17, the shortlisted candidates for the PV module pre-selected supplier pool project of Guangzhou High-Tech Zone Modern Energy Group were announced. The shortlisted companies include JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Risen Energy Co., Ltd., Jinko Solar Co., Ltd., LONGi Solar Technology Co., Ltd., TrinaSolar Co., Ltd., and Tongwei Co., Ltd.

Details are as follows:

According to the tender announcement, Guangzhou High-Tech Zone Modern Energy Group Co., Ltd., based on development needs, will establish a pre-selected supplier pool to procure PV modules required for PV projects invested in or EPC PV projects undertaken by its affiliated enterprises during 2025-2026.

China Approves 17.44 GW Power Plan for Qaidam Desert Base, Including Solar, Wind, and Energy Storage Projects
It is understood that the National Energy Administration has officially approved the power source allocation plan for the "Qaidam Desert Base (East Golmud) Base". The planned construction scale of the power source projects at this base is 17.44 million kilowatts, including 10 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, 5 million kilowatts of wind power, 2.64 million kilowatts of coal-fired power, 0.1 million kilowatts of solar thermal power, and 1.5 million kilowatts (for 4 hours) of electrochemical energy storage. The total investment in the projects is about 86 billion yuan. The new energy will be transmitted to Guangxi through the "Qinghai-Guangxi DC" UHV power transmission project.
