CalmCar partners with Jiangsu Xuantong for smart unmanned logistics innovations

Intelligent driving tech company CalmCar announced it recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with supply chain service provider Jiangsu Xuantong Supply Chain Co., Ltd.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Intelligent driving tech company CalmCar announced it recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with supply chain service provider Jiangsu Xuantong Supply Chain Co., Ltd. ("Xuantong") to advance the applications of smart inspection systems, automated commercial vehicle technologies, unmanned driving solutions for closed environments, and C-V2X system in industrial parks.  

Since 2024, CalmCar has delivered multiple smart inspection projects to Xuantong, significantly improving its logistics efficiency and safety. Under this new partnership, the two companies will deepen collaboration, with CalmCar providing intelligent and efficient technical solutions to enhance Xuantong's logistics park operations.  

CalmCar specializes in developing L2+ to L4 intelligent systems. It has so far delivered over one million sets of mass-produced systems to automakers and suppliers worldwide. Notably, since 2019, CalmCar has partnered with SAIC Motor on the Yangshan Port L4 autonomous truck project, China's first large-scale L4 commercial deployment.  

The partnership will focus on developing autonomous driving systems and establishing C-V2X networks around the logistics park, including edge device deployment and platform capabilities. Within the next three years, over 300 logistics vehicles are expected to undergo unmanned driving upgrades, improving delivery efficiency by more than 30%. Additionally, CalmCar's AI-powered indoor positioning and inspection systems will be utilized in Xuantong's bonded warehouses for inventory and safety management.
