Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 13, Huang Zhaogen, head of EXEED's marketing division, announced via his Weibo account that the first winter test vehicle for the brand's flagship luxury MPV, the STERRA E08, has officially rolled off the production line.

Note that winter test vehicles are typically developed for testing and calibration in winter conditions.

The STERRA E08 made its debut earlier this year at the Auto Guangzhou 2024, showcasing a design philosophy centered on "New Classic Aesthetics." The vehicle's design was a collaborative effort between EXEED’s Shanghai and European styling teams, integrating diverse Eastern and Western cultural elements.

Built with a One Box integrated body design, the STERRA E08 boasts dimensions of over 5.3 meters in length, 2 meters in width, and a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters. It features comfortable seats, which incorporate ergonomic curvature, zero-gravity support, semi-aniline leather crafted through 100+ processes, 16-point SPA-grade heated stone massage, and music headrests.

Interior highlights include panoramic sunroof, central aisle provision, left and right armrest consoles, seat cushions, rear air vents, and B-pillar-mounted entry assist handles. Technologically, the STERRA E08 comes equipped with an iATS all-terrain system, rear-wheel steering, and advanced intelligent driving features.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
