Weiye's High-Performance Aluminum Alloy 6S63 Wins Grade Registration, Boosting Advancements in New Materials

Published: Dec 12, 2024 13:14
Recently, the high-performance aluminum alloy material independently developed by Weiye has been awarded the Metal and Alloy Grade Registration Certificate by the China Nonferrous Metals Standardization Committee, officially registered as grade 6S63. This marks another significant advancement for Weiye Aluminum Semis in the field of high-strength and tough aluminum alloy new materials, following the successful registration of the 6E05 aluminum alloy grade.

The two high-performance aluminum alloys, 6S63 and 6E05, exhibit excellent comprehensive performance in practical applications, balancing high strength, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Currently, they have been commercially applied in the crash beams, battery trays, and subframes of NEVs, as well as in the lightweight compartments of commercial heavy trucks.
