Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 10, SAIC Motor's intelligent car technology solution provider, Z-one Tech, and the Tongji University’s School of Automotive Studies officially inaugurated their "Automotive Intelligent Driving Technology Innovation Joint Laboratory", according to Z-one Tech's announcement.  

The joint lab aims to advance autonomous driving safety and comfort by integrating cutting-edge resources and focusing on end-to-end decision-making, planning, and control technologies. It will serve as a collaborative platform for research innovation and talent cultivation while accelerating the transformation of key technologies in the intelligent vehicle sector. The lab aspires to deliver proprietary, world-class advancements that contribute to the high-quality growth of the smart automotive industry.  

Z-one Tech highlighted the lab's role in deepening collaboration with Tongji University, emphasizing its commitment to the "AI + Software-Defined Vehicle" principle. The company will leverage this partnership to innovate and industrialize full-stack autonomous driving solutions. The joint efforts will focus on enhancing the AI system's capacity to understand and navigate complex scenarios, improving end-to-end decision-making models, and advancing proactive safety measures for autonomous systems.  

By combining strengths, Z-one Tech and Tongji University aim to accelerate a closed-loop, data-driven ecosystem for autonomous driving. This partnership seeks to create vehicles that are not only safer but also more intelligent and personalized, advancing towards a "zero-accident" vision and redefining the driving experience.
