[SMM Analysis: Future Outlook for Prebaked Anode Market is Positive, Aluminum Industry Drives Continuous Demand Growth] Considering the new capacity of domestic aluminum enterprises in 2024 and beyond, the growth rate of domestic aluminum capacity in 2024 will significantly slow down. Only the third phase of the Huayun project in Inner Mongolia will be put into operation, with a total capacity of 420,000 mt. The enterprise started production in late May. After the project is put into operation, it will lead to a net increase of 170,000 mt in domestic aluminum capacity. Combined with the capacity relocation project of the Sixth Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the net increase in aluminum capacity in 2024 will be 370,000 mt.
