JI YUE delivered 2485 vehicles in November, representing a 20% month-on-month (MoM) decline. Its total deliveries reached over 14,000 units from January to November.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- JI YUE, a Chinese smart electric vehicle brand co-backed by Geely and Baidu, delivered 2485 vehicles in November, representing a 20% month-on-month (MoM) decline. Its total deliveries reached over 14,000 units for the first eleven months of the year.

At the Auto Guangzhou 2024 that kicked off on November 15, JI YUE showcased its latest product lineup, with its ROBO X AI-driven supercar opening for pre-orders.

Also making its debut at the auto show was the JI YUE 07 Passion Edition, starting at 279,900 yuan, limited to just 88 units. It is powered by an all-wheel-drive system delivering 400 kW of peak power. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and offers a CLTC range of 770 km.

Starting November 20, the OTA (over-the-air) 2.1 update was gradually deployed to all JI YUE users. This update introduces the ASD (Apollo Self Driving) capabilities nationwide, alongside 262 additional enhancements.

On November 23, JI YUE's CEO Xia Yiping conducted a live-streamed test for the JI YUE 07, demonstrating its durability under extreme conditions. The vehicle successfully withstood bottom scraping, deep-water driving, high-temperature fire exposure, and electromagnetic radiation tests, and a lightning strike test with 850,000 volts, equivalent to about 4,000 times the household voltages.

In November, JI YUE opened 23 new stores, expanding into cities including Nanchang, Linyi, and so on. By the end of November, the brand had owned nearly 140 locations (including those under construction) nationwide across 40 cities. This ongoing expansion ensures greater accessibility and visibility for JI YUE's vehicles.)

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
