Changan Automobile logs 21.98% YoY jump in Nov. auto sales

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Changan Automobile posted monthly sales volume of 277,298 vehicles in November 2024, indicating a 21.98% year-on-year jump.

In the first eleven months of this year, Changan Automobile sold 2,433,109 vehicles cumulatively, which rose 4.07% from a year ago. Of the vehicles sold in the period, a total of 2,027,596 units were under Changan Automobile's wholly-owned brands, with 1,517,801 units being passenger vehicles.

In addition, in the Jan.-Nov. period, Changan Automobile's wholly-owned brands sold 337,944 vehicles in overseas markets.

In the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, Changan Automobile's NEV brands sold 102,309 vehicles in the past month, which resulted in a year-to-date volume of 643,290 units in total.

As to Changan Automobile's joint ventures, Changan Ford sold 25,103 vehicles in November this year, representing a 31.78% jump year-over-year. The automaker's other joint venture, Changan Mazda, sold 8,603 vehicles, which dropped 8.09% from the year-ago period.
