Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On December 1, Chinese new energy vehicle manufacturer ROX Motor signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Laith Al Obaidi Group in Shanghai, appointing the group as its exclusive agent for Riyadh and the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia, according to a post on ROX Motor's WeChat account.

The partnership marks a significant step in ROX Motor's global expansion, bringing the ROX 01 all-terrain luxury SUV to Saudi users, offering an innovative outdoor lifestyle experience powered by Chinese manufacturing.

Yan Feng, co-founder and CEO of ROX Motor, highlighted the milestone: "Over the past six months, ROX Motor has made breakthrough progress in its globalization strategy. This collaboration with Laith Al Obaidi Group is not only a key milestone in expanding into the Saudi market but also a critical step in strengthening our presence and market share in the Middle East."

Headquartered in China with a global perspective, ROX Motor has established a sales and service network across more than 20 countries, including the UAE, Qatar, and Kazakhstan. Spanning the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, the brand has surpassed 10,000-unit overseas orders and deliveries. The fresh partnership with Laith Al Obaidi Group aims to provide Saudi users with high-quality, localized products and services.

During the Auto Guangzhou 2024, ROX Motor also signed agreements with partners from Iraq, Jordan, Oman, and Libya, launching comprehensive sales and service networks in these markets. In addition, the company celebrated the opening of its first showroom in Kuwait, marking another milestone in its Middle Eastern strategy. Recently, ROX Motor held its inaugural global after-sales training program, with after-sales directors and engineers from all partner countries participating.
