Changan Automobile's new energy vehicle sales exceed 100,000 units in Nov. 2024

Changan Automobile announced on the first day of December that its monthly new energy vehicle (NEV) sales surpassed 100,000 units for the first time in November.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Changan Automobile announced on the first day of December that its monthly new energy vehicle (NEV) sales surpassed 100,000 units for the first time in November.

In the Jan.-Nov. period this year, Changan Automobile's NEV sales exceeded 640,000 units in total.  

Specifically, Changan's NEVO brand sold 18,455 vehicles in the past month, contributing to a cumulative delivery volume of 131,432 units for the first eleven months of this year.

The DEEPAL brand also reported strong growth, with November sales reaching 36,026 units, representing a year-on-year soar of 122.96% and a month-on-month jump of 29.3%. Key contributors were the DEEPAL S05, which recorded deliveries of over 10,000 units within 40 days of its market launch, and the S07, which set a new monthly delivery record of 16,766 units.  

Meanwhile, AVATR, the premium NEV brand co-developed by Changan, Huawei, and CATL, delivered 11,579 vehicles in November, indicating a year-on-year surge of over 180%, setting a new record. The brand recently held a launch event in Dubai, UAE, introducing its flagship AVATR 012 model and opening pre-orders for the AVATR 11 in the region.  

As part of its overseas expansion strategy, Changan Automobile plans to introduce its three NEV brands to the Middle East and Africa. The company will establish a Middle East subsidiary, host brand launches, and complete a regional spare parts center by the end of 2024.
