Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In the November 2024, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") recorded a sales volume of 127,394 new vehicles, which climbed 3.7% over the previous year, and also rose 9.07% over the previous month.
For the first eleven months of this year, GWM's vehicle sales amounted to 1,098,006 units, edging down 1.81% from a year earlier.
Among the vehicles sold last month, 35,999 units were contributed by the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector, indicating a 15.2% year-on-year increase. The company's year-to-date NEV sales totaled 279,530 units.
In addition, GWM also reported a sales volume of 43,186 vehicles for its overseas market business, showing a jump of 21.66% compared to the year-ago period. For the Jan.-Nov. period, the company's overseas market sales stood at 411,848 units.
GWM announced that the sales of vehicles priced over 200,000 yuan amounted to 31,283 units last month, displaying a 36.7% jump from a year ago.
Breaking down the sales performance by specific brands, HAVAL ranked highest with 78,386 vehicles sold last month, representing a 4.5% growth from the year-ago period. WEY brand recorded a sales volume of 7,046 vehicles, which zoomed up 145.85% over a year earlier. Both Great Wall Pick-up and ORA brands faced a year-on-year drop in their respective November sales. In addition, TANK sold 20,189 vehicles in the month, gaining a year-on-year rise of 8.68%.
Regarding the year-to-date performance, HAVAL, Great Wall Pick-up, and ORA brands saw their respective vehicle sales decrease over the prior-year period, while both WEY and TANK boasted a two-digit year-on-year jump.
