Geely Auto Group's new energy vehicle sales surge 94% YoY in Nov. 2024

Geely Auto Group's monthly vehicle sales volume hit an all-time high in November.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("Geely Auto Group" or "the Group") announced on the first day of December that its monthly automobile sales volume amounted to 250,136 units in November 2024, growing 27% year on year (YoY) and 10% month on month (MoM).

It is noteworthy that the Group's monthly vehicle sales volume hit an all-time high in November.

For the first eleven months of the year, Geely Auto Group sold 1,966,512 vehicles, representing a year-on-year leap of 31%.

Among the vehicles the Group sold last month, new energy vehicles (NEVs) accounted for a sales volume of 122,453 units, indicating a remarkable year-on-year spike of 94%. Regarding performance by powertrain solutions, the sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) stood at 91,333 units and 31,120 units, growing 173% and 5% from a year earlier, respectively.

As for year-to-date performance, Geely Auto Group has sold 777,029 NEVs (+92% YoY) by November this year, including 499,525 BEVs (+79% YoY) and 277,504 PHEVs (+119% YoY).

The Group also reported an export volume of 32,814 vehicles for the month of November this year, representing a year-on-year increase of 13%. For the Jan.-Nov. period, Geely Auto Group exported a total of 379,396 vehicles, which soared 56% compared to the prior-year period.

Breaking down the November sales by specific brands and product ranges, there were 190,446 Geely-branded vehicles sold last month, showing a 24% year-over-year increase. Of those, 75,228 units came from the brand's new energy vehicle range Galaxy, demonstrating a year-on-year hike of 121%. What's more, ZEEKR and Lynk & Co brands boasted year-on-year increases of 106% and 9% with 27,011 and 32,679 vehicles sold last month, respectively.
