Beijing (Gasgoo)- VOYAH, a premium new energy vehicle brand under Dongfeng Motor, recently held a brand launch event in Lisbon, Portugal, in collaboration with Salvador Caetano Group, the largest automotive distributor on the Iberian Peninsula.

Three new energy vehicle models were showcased at the launch, including the VOYAH FREE, VOYAH DREAM, and VOYAH Courage. This marks another significant partnership following VOYAH's successful entry into the Spanish market earlier this year.

Since its inception, VOYAH has pursued a strategy of globalization and international operations. Beginning its overseas journey in 2022 with a focus on Northern Europe, VOYAH has steadily expanded into Southern European markets.

In April 2024, the company entered Italy and announced its "Let's VOYAH" global expansion strategy at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing. In June, VOYAH penetrated the Spanish market, followed by the opening of its flagship store in the Netherlands in July. In October, VOYAH forayed into Slovenia, while simultaneously launching the VOYAH Courage model in Norway, Sweden, and Finland.

Following Portugal, VOYAH plans to expand into Belgium and Latvia by the end of this year, continuing to strengthen its presence across Europe.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
