Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 26, the new LUXEED S7 all-electric sedan, co-developed by Huawei and Chery, hit the market. The premium electric sedan comes in three trims levels, Pro, Max, and Max RS, priced between 229,800 yuan and 319,800 yuan. The refreshed model introduces new color options, design enhancements, and intelligent upgrades.

The new LUXEED S7 features a monochromatic exterior design, eliminating excess accents for a streamlined aesthetic. Privacy glass is now standard for rear windows and rear side windows. The vehicle measures 4,971mm in length, 1,963mm in width, and 1,474mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,950mm. The upgrade also includes dual 19/20-inch five-spoke wheels.

Inside, the cabin adopts a yacht-inspired wraparound design, creating a spacious and elegant atmosphere. An oval-shaped steering wheel and an instrument cluster provide better visibility and improved ergonomics. The layout optimizes front cabin space, positioning the 15.6-inch central touchscreen prominently for easy access.

Under the hood, the new LUXEED S7 retains its high-performance electric powertrain. Single-motor models produce 215kW of maximum power, while dual-motor variants deliver a combined output of 365kW. The sedan is built on Huawei's new 800V high-voltage battery platform, offering two battery options: 82kWh and 100kWh. The 82kWh version provides a CLTC range of 705km (RWD) or 630km (AWD), while the 100kWh model extends to 855km (RWD) or 751km (AWD).

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
