Dongfeng Motor launches right-hand-drive DONGFENG BOX in Malaysia

On November 22, Dongfeng Motor held a grand launch event for the right-hand-drive version of the DONGFENG BOX electric vehicle model at its flagship store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 22, Dongfeng Motor held a grand launch event for the right-hand-drive version of the DONGFENG BOX electric vehicle model at its flagship store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Themed "Step into possibilities of BOX," the event showcased an innovative electric vehicle experience.

The venue was designed to exude modernity and artistic flair, illuminated with vibrant lighting. Four dedicated zones, including "BOX of Style," "BOX of Versatile," "BOX of Recharge," and "BOX of Love", highlighted the model's distinctive features, offering attendees an immersive experience to explore the BOX's versatility and potential.  

The DONGFENG BOX targets markets in Southeast Asia, Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Central Asia. In the first half of this year, the BOX made appearances in European markets including Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. According to Dongfeng Motor, the European-specific BOX began production in July, with the first batch of 2,000 units already shipped to Europe.

Previously, the right-hand-drive version of the BOX has also been introduced in Southeast Asia, appearing in markets like Nepal and Malaysia, signaling Dongfeng Motor's commitment to expanding its global footprint in electric mobility.
