Geely Binyue family's 1 millionth vehicle rolls off production line

Geely Auto announced that the 1 millionth vehicle from its Binyue family has officially rolled off the production line.

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 25, Geely Auto announced that the 1 millionth vehicle from its Binyue family has officially rolled off the production line. Besides, the company also revealed that the Binyue L will hit the market on November 27.

The Bin Yue L, which has been available for pre-sale, offers two trim levels priced between 90,000 yuan and 97,000 yuan. According to Geely, the "L" stands for "Luxury."

In terms of design, the Binyue L features a completely new look compared to the existing model. It features split-style headlights with sharp contours and segmented LED daytime running lights. The front lamp assembly is adorned with dot-matrix trim integrated with Geely's cube-shaped emblem.The lower fascia includes a staggered rectangular grille with a blacked-out finish and silver accents, enhancing its sporty appeal.

Inside, the model showcases a revamped three-spoke steering wheel and a floating center console screen with a narrow bezel, and a more minimalist layout for the air vents and control buttons.The Geely logo on the steering wheel is updated to silver, and the gear lever has been upgraded to a crystal-style design.

In terms of smart features, the Binyue L is equipped with an 8.8-inch liquid crystal instrument cluster, six-way electrically adjustable driver seat, heated front seats, and a a 540-degree panoramic camera system. It also includes Level 2 driving assistance systems such as the ICC (Intelligent Cruise Control) and the ELKA (Emergency Lane Keeping Assist) +LDW (Lane Departure Warning) system.

Under the hood, the model is powered by the latest 1.5TD turbocharged engine, which can deliver a maximum output of 133 kW and peak torque of 290 Nm, paired with a new 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds and boasts a fuel efficiency of 6.35 liters per 100 kilometers, according to official data.
