China's Lithium Hydroxide Exports Plummeted in October 2024, Down 38% MoM

SMM, Nov 25: According to customs data, China's lithium hydroxide exports in October reached 7,831.04 mt, down 38% MoM and approximately 24% YoY.

SMM, Nov 25: According to customs data, China's lithium hydroxide exports in October reached 7,831.04 mt, down 38% MoM and approximately 24% YoY. Exports to South Korea and Japan were 5,770.75 mt and 1,695.96 mt, respectively, accounting for 73.69% and 21.66% of China's total exports for the month. These figures represent a MoM decrease of 43.76% and 17.78%, and a YoY decline of 8.52% and 38.32%, respectively. The average export price of China's lithium hydroxide in October was $12,604.51/mt, down 30.4% MoM and 70.15% YoY.
