Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto and its partner PT Surya Mobil Abadi recently announced the opening of a new 3S dealership in North Jakarta's Pluit district. This milestone reflects NETA Auto's commitment to the Indonesian market.

NETA Auto plans to open 20 dealerships in Indonesia in 2024

NETA Auto announced last month it has fully launched its sales operations in Indonesia, introducing the NETA V as its first model, priced at 3.79 million Indonesian rupiah (approximately 170,000 yuan). In November 2023, NETA signed an agreement with PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM) to commence local production of its vehicles in the second quarter of 2024 through KD assembly, marking a significant step forward in its regional expansion.

Currently, NETA Auto has operated 11 3S and 4S dealerships across Indonesia, and plans to increase the total to over 20 by the end of 2024, providing enhanced customer services nationwide.  

Beyond Indonesia, NETA Auto has expanded into South America, Africa, and the Middle East. In March this year, the company began mass production at its KD factory in Thailand, followed by local manufacturing in Indonesia in June. Additionally, it inaugurated its first African flagship store in Nairobi, Kenya, in June, and launched its popular NETA X model in Uzbekistan in October.  

Looking ahead, NETA Auto aims to strengthen its foothold in Southeast Asia while pursuing opportunities in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
