Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 15, autonomous truck solution developer KargoBot signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Bangkok with Elenergy Thailand and Elenergy China (Chengdu Guangda New Trust Chain Technology, "Guangda Technology").

The partnership aims to accelerate the deployment of L4 autonomous freight operations in overseas markets, leveraging advanced driverless freight technology and intelligent green logistics solutions.

According to the MoU, the parties will combine their expertise, technology, and resources to explore applications for KargoBot's L4 autonomous intelligent mixed convoy freight systems. They will focus on Guangda Technology's international logistics projects as a foundation to develop scenarios tailored for these systems.

The collaboration will also include the adaptation and research of L4 autonomous driving software and hardware for various new energy vehicle types, particularly methanol-extended range and pure-electric heavy-duty trucks.

The duo further targets establishing standards for exporting new energy commercial vehicles and L4 autonomous driving software services. By refining key elements, the companies seek to strengthen the global strategy for autonomous driving deployment.

Guangda Technology has been dedicated to providing innovative, green logistics solutions for supply chains globally, focusing on clean energy-powered intelligent freight systems. Elenergy Thailand, as part of Guangda's international operations, will utilize its logistics expertise to support KargoBot's advanced driverless freight technologies, fostering their growth in Southeast Asia's logistics market.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
