[4.4GWh! Sungrow Signs Europe's Largest Energy Storage Cooperation Agreement] Recently, Sungrow successfully signed a 4.4GWh energy storage cooperation agreement with the UK's Fidra Energy, which will help the UK build two benchmark independent energy storage power stations: the 3.3GWh Thorpe Marsh and the 1.1GWh West Burton C. The project will be connected to the UK's highest voltage level power grid, participating in local ancillary services and power market transactions, aiding the UK in achieving its 2050 decarbonization goal. As the largest energy storage power station in Europe, the project will deploy 880 sets of Sungrow PowerTitan2.0 liquid-cooled energy storage systems. Through the system's simplified product design and grid-forming energy storage technology, it will significantly improve operation and maintenance efficiency, enhancing the stability and flexibility of the power grid. The project is expected to start construction in 2025 and, once operational, will provide power to 1.1 million British households.
