Recently, Yantai Port in Shandong set a new global record for the single-ship unloading volume of bauxite, with the record standing at 294,400 mt. In this achievement, the vessel "Shagang Confidence" successfully completed the unloading, carrying 294,400 mt of Guinean bauxite. This also marks the 29th 300,000 mt-class bauxite vessel received by Yantai Port, further demonstrating its strength in bauxite transportation.
In recent years, Yantai Port has closely collaborated with partners to establish a comprehensive logistics network for bauxite from African mines to end-use manufacturers in China. Currently, the cumulative ore shipments managed by Yantai Port from the Boké and Kamsar port areas in Guinea have exceeded 360 million mt, accounting for more than half of Guinea's bauxite exports.
