Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 15, IM Motors, NVIDIA, and Momenta announced their collaboration to develop one of the industry's first mass-produced intelligent driving solutions based on the DRIVE AGX Thor chip. The system will debut in IM Motors' production vehicles in 2025, enhancing the IM AD platform's capabilities.

Leveraging the computational power of the DRIVE AGX Thor chip, Momenta's one-stage intelligent driving large model processes higher-resolution images and videos with extended temporal input. These capabilities allow the IM AD 3.0 smart driving system to perceive farther and clearer while deepening environmental understanding and decision-making, elevating intelligent driving performance from "human-like" to "beyond human."

The enhanced computational efficiency of the DRIVE AGX Thor chip also accelerates Momenta's large model response times by hundreds of milliseconds, delivering safer and more reliable driving experiences. Its high compatibility across different platforms ensures the IM AD 3.0 system can optimize both large model and hardware capabilities, providing a seamless "door-to-door" integrated driving and parking experience across all scenarios.

This mass-produced solution includes advanced features like ADAS (Autonomous Driving Assistance System) functionalities, HNP (Highway Navigation Pilot), UNP (Urban Navigation Pilot), and LPNP (Learned Parking Navigation Pilot).

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
