NavInfo inaugurates second headquarters in Hefei, Anhui

On November 16, smart mobility service provider NavInfo officially inaugurated its second headquarters, which is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province。

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 16, smart mobility service provider NavInfo officially inaugurated its second headquarters, which is located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, marking a significant milestone in its expansion and commitment to automotive intelligence.

Spanning 18 mu (around 12,000 square meters) with a total floor area of 50,000 square meters, the new headquarters will house key business segments, including autonomous driving, high-precision positioning, chips, artificial intelligence, new energy charging platforms, next-generation V2X technologies, and intelligent hardware.

It will also feature joint innovation labs for intelligent connected electric vehicle technologies and location-based big data, focusing on AI-driven autonomous driving, HD map, and high-precision positioning systems.

NavInfo CEO Cheng Peng highlighted the company's pivotal moment in 2017 when it entered the automotive intelligence sector by acquiring AutoChips in Hefei. Over the past seven years, AutoChips has achieved several milestones, including mass production of its AC8015 smart cockpit chip, the globally adopted AC8025 smart cockpit chip, and the AC7801 MCU, which boasts annual sales exceeding 10 million units. AutoChips has cumulatively delivered over 300 million vehicle-grade chips.  

In recent years, NavInfo has intensified efforts in smart cockpits and intelligent driving sectors, with mid- to high-level smart driving and cockpit-driving integration products nearing mass production.
