Recently, the 1:1 collector device model test acceptance for the generator motor of the variable-speed unit at the Guangdong Huizhou Zhongdong Pumped Storage Power Station was successfully completed at Harbin Electric Machinery Plant. This significant achievement marks a solid step forward in the development of 400MW-class variable-speed units. With the completion of the collector device model test acceptance, the research and manufacturing of variable-speed units will enter a new stage, which is of great significance to the development of the domestic hydropower and pumped storage industry.
