New AVATR 11 range-extended model starts pre-sales at Auto Guangzhou 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 15, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly backed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, kicked off pre-sales for the range-extended electric vehicle (REEV) version of the new AVATR 11 at the Auto Guangzhou 2024, with a starting price of 299,900 yuan.

At the same time, the AVATR 11 Ultra battery-electric vehicle model and the AVATR 11 Royal Theater Edition model also started pre-sales, with prices of 339,900 yuan and 429,900 yuan, respectively.

The new AVATR 11 REEV retains the exterior design of the existing all-electric version, and is positioned as a mid-to-large SUV. Dimensions of the new model stand at 4,880 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,601 mm in height, alongside a wheelbase of 2,975 mm.

Inside, the new AVATR 11 REEV features a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 10.25-inch entertainment display, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It runs on Huawei's HarmonyOS, providing 5G connectivity, multi-zone voice recognition, gesture control, facial recognition, remote smartphone functionality, and in-cabin biometric monitoring.

For intelligent driving, the new AVATR 11 REEV is equipped with 34 sensors, including three LiDAR units, 13 cameras, 12 ultrasonic radars, and six millimeter-wave radars, supporting Huawei's ADS 2.0 smart driving system for both highway and urban assisted driving. The system does not rely on high-definition maps, allowing NCA (Navigation Cruise Assist) coverage in over 300 cities across China, adaptable to various road changes.

The new AVATR 11 REEV is powered by a 1.5T four-cylinder engine as a range extender, offering a peak output of 115 kW, while its dual electric motors deliver 231 kW of maximum power. The vehicle achieves a WLTC-rated battery-powered range of 180 km, and a CLTC-rated combined range exceeding 1,000 km.
