The SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate index price was 78,405 yuan/tonne, a decrease of 471 yuan/tonne compared to the previous working day; battery-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 76,900 to 80,500 yuan/tonne, with an average price of 78,700 yuan/tonne, a decline of 250 yuan/tonne from the previous working day; industrial-grade lithium carbonate ranged from 74,550 to 75,550 yuan/tonne, with an average price of 75,050 yuan/tonne, a decrease of 200 yuan/tonne compared to the previous working day. Spot prices of lithium carbonate have been rising for consecutive days, resulting in weaker willingness among downstream material factories to receive shipments currently. As the weekend approached, market inquiries were relatively sluggish, dragging down spot prices of lithium carbonate. Subsequently, stimulated by demand and considering the cumulative inventory levels of lithium carbonate, spot prices of lithium carbonate are expected to exhibit range-bound volatility.
