Alba Reports Q3 2024 Aluminium Production Decline but Stable Sales

Bahrain Aluminium (Alba) recently released its operational report for the third quarter of 2024. During this quarter, the company's aluminium production reached 402,568 tonnes, marking a year-on-year decrease of 12%. For the first three quarters, the company's total production amounted to 1,212,209 tonnes, a slight decline of 0.1%.

Meanwhile, aluminium sales exhibited relative stability, with a third-quarter sales volume of 431,220 tonnes, representing a year-on-year increase of 0.2%. The total sales volume for the first three quarters was 1,192,041 tonnes, up 0.8% compared to the same period last year.
