BAIC Motor launches 8 vehicle models in Bahrain

On November 12, BAIC Group inaugurated its first BAIC brand showroom in Bahrain, marking another significant step in its Middle Eastern expansion following a similar launch in Qatar.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 12, BAIC Group inaugurated its first BAIC brand showroom in Bahrain, marking another significant step in its Middle Eastern expansion following a similar launch in Qatar.

The event included the debut of new BAIC-branded models and underscored the company's commitment to deepening its global strategy and catering to local market needs.

In Bahrain, BAIC unveiled a lineup of eight models, including the BJ30, BJ40, BJ60, BJ80, U5P, X35, X55, and X7. This diverse range aims to meet the varied demands of Bahraini consumers, blending advanced design with capabilities suited to local preferences and conditions.

Bahrain, as a member of the GCC with a growing automotive market, presents an ideal landscape for BAIC Group's international expansion ambitions.

BAIC Group's October sales figures reflect strong growth, with total sales reaching 144,100 vehicles, which indicated a 5.67% increase year-on-year. The group's subsidiary BAIC Motor achieved a 120% year-on-year surge in sales, which came in at 23,020 vehicles in October, with overseas sales surpassing 10,000 units in a single month for the first time.

Moving forward, BAIC aims to strengthen its brand presence across the Middle East by offering high-quality, innovative products, enhancing its market share, and accelerating its global expansion efforts.
