Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co., Ltd. ("TGOOD") recently announced that its majority-owned subsidiary, TELD New Energy Co., Ltd. ("TELD") has signed a sales and service contract with Beijing IONCHI New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("IONCHI") for the construction and operation of high-power charging stations. The contract is valued at approximately 528 million yuan (excluding taxes).

IONCHI is a joint venture between BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. The company officially launched its ultra-fast charging brand on October 24, aiming to leverage global expertise in high-power charging while tailoring the experience for the Chinese market.

According to the announcement, TELD will construct and operate the charging stations in line with BMW's specific requirements. The scope of the project includes a comprehensive range of facilities such as charging piles, charging guns, cables, LCD screens, power cabinets, charging modules, as well as integrated systems for solar power and lithium battery storage. Additional components include low-voltage distribution cabinets, high-voltage box transformers, parking barriers, ground locks, crash barriers, surveillance, and fire safety systems. The agreement also covers maintenance and support services provided by associated suppliers, as well as the lease rights for the station locations. The contract amount encompasses equipment costs, construction fees, and site rental expenses.

TGOOD stated that the signing of this contract aligns with the company's long-term strategic development plan. It also highlights the market's strong recognition of TELD's charging network technology, platform operations, product offerings, and station construction capabilities. The deal is expected to accelerate TELD's business growth and further enhance its brand influence in the charging infrastructure sector.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
