Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On November 12, Chinese new energy vehicle maker NETA Auto announced a strategic partnership with Saavedra Corp., the largest automobile sales company in Bolivia, appointing the group as its exclusive distributor, according to a post on NETA Auto's WeChat account.

In recent years, Bolivia's electric vehicle (EV) market has experienced robust growth, driven by government support and the country's abundant natural resources. NETA Auto aims to leverage this momentum through a strong collaboration with Saavedra Group, deepening its presence in South America and promoting sustainable mobility solutions across the region.

As the leading automobile sales group in Bolivia, Saavedra Group boasts extensive experience and a well-established market presence. With a comprehensive sales and service network that spans key cities and regions, the group is well-positioned to support NETA Auto's expansion. Saavedra Group noted that the Bolivian government's favorable policies and the promising growth potential of the EV sector present significant opportunities for NETA Auto. The signing of this agreement marks the beginning of a new chapter in advancing EV adoption in the Bolivian market.

NETA Auto plans to open its first dealership in Bolivia in the first quarter of next year, kicking off local sales. By 2025, the company aims to establish at least 10 sales channels in the country, offering two of its global hotter-sellers, the NETA AYA and NETA X, to provide a wider range of choices for Bolivian consumers.

The entry into Bolivia will accelerate NETA Auto's expansion in South America. Following successful launches in Brazil, Ecuador, and Costa Rica, the move into Bolivia marks another step in its strategy to broaden its footprint across the continent. Globally, NETA Auto has already established its presence in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, and the Middle East.
