【Postponement of New Electrolytic Aluminium Capacity Commissioning in Indonesia】According to SMM, due to reasons such as high costs, the commissioning of the second phase of an electrolytic aluminium plant in Indonesia has been postponed. The second phase of this enterprise, with a built capacity of 250,000 tonnes, was originally scheduled to be energized and commence production at the end of October 2024. Currently, the total scale of cells started up is approximately 30,000 tonnes, with the remaining capacity postponed for commissioning. The subsequent commissioning date remains to be determined. SMM will continue to monitor the situation.
