Earlier this year, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) announced the crude steel production for 2023, which was only 1.122 million tonnes higher than the 101.7959 million tonnes in 2022, basically achieving the annual "flat control" target. At that time, the market was in disbelief, questioning the authenticity of the data and wondering how crude steel production could have achieved such a "data flat control" so easily. However, recently, the NBS released the "China Statistical Yearbook 2024," significantly revising the crude steel and steel production figures for 2023. Among them, the crude steel production for 2023 was revised upwards by 9.78 million tonnes to 1029 million tonnes, and the steel production for 2023 was revised upwards by 21.1 million tonnes to 1.384 billion tonnes.....
