**TSMC Responds to Rumors of Chip “Supply Halt”: No Comment, Company Adheres Strictly to Export Control Regulations**

SMM Report on November 11: In the afternoon of November 8, in response to online rumors of a “supply halt,” TSMC told Yinshi Finance, “TSMC does not comment on rumors. TSMC abides by laws and disciplines, strictly complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including export control regulations.” Earlier, according to multiple sources cited by Jiwei News, TSMC had sent emails to all its AI/GPU company customers in mainland China, stating that from [November 11] onwards, it would no longer provide chips using 7-nanometer or more advanced process technologies to these customers.
