[Tailan New Energy and Changan Automobile Hold Solid-State Lithium Battery Technology Conference] On November 7, Tailan New Energy and Changan Automobile jointly held a conference on separator-free solid-state lithium battery technology in Chongqing. In terms of performance, the separator function is replaced with a composite solid electrolyte layer of electrode sheets, fundamentally enhancing battery safety and enabling compatibility with various known cathode and anode materials with high gram capacities. In terms of production costs, Tailan New Energy anticipates a reduction of over 10% in raw material costs with the separator-free technology. According to the plan, Tailan New Energy's separator-free semi-solid power batteries will enter sample pack development for mass production in 2025, followed by vehicle loading verification in 2026. The separator-free all-solid-state batteries are expected to enter sales production and continuous verification in 2026, with mass production of separator-free all-solid-state batteries achieved in 2027.
