The total steel shipments from ports across the country, as reported by SMM, amounted to 6.8542 million tonnes, marking an increase of 0.3058 million tonnes or 5% compared to the previous week. Among these, the six major northern ports (Jingtang Port, Caofeidian Port, Bayuquan Port, Tianjin Xingang Port, Huanghua Port, and Jinzhou Port) saw a total shipment of 2.4742 million tonnes, up by 0.0587 million tonnes from the previous week, accounting for 36% of the total shipments.
