According to the joint consultation results of the China National Environmental Monitoring Centre and the Provincial Ecological Environment Monitoring and Safety Center, it is predicted that from November 9th to 14th, the diffusion conditions across the province will gradually worsen. Upon obtaining the approval of the provincial government, it is recommended that Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Luoyang, Pingdingshan, Anyang, Hebi, Xinxiang, Jiaozuo, Puyang, Xuchang, Luohe, Jiyuan Demonstration Area, Zhengzhou Airport Economic Experimental Zone, and other 13 cities (districts) initiate an orange warning response for heavy pollution weather at 6 pm on November 8th. The benchmark value for this round of pollution is taken as the average of November 5th and 6th. As of 0:00 on November 8th, Hebi, Zhengzhou, and Zhengzhou Airport Economic Experimental Zone have already activated the orange warning. According to SMM research, lead smelters in the Jiyuan area have indicated that the warning will begin at 6 pm today, with a slight expected decline in production.
