XPENG P7+ hits market, starting at 186,800 yuan

Chinese electric vehicle maker XPENG officially released the XPENG P7+ AI-powered sedan onto the market on November 7.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese electric vehicle maker XPENG officially released the XPENG P7+ AI-powered sedan onto the market on November 7. Available in three variants, the P7+ includes a Long Range version priced at 186,800 yuan, an Ultra Long Range version at 198,800 yuan, and a limited MAX Edition at 218,800 yuan, which only offers 500 units initially.

The P7+ maintains XPENG's signature "Robot Face" front design, with refined details like integrated LED strips and split headlights. The front also features new ventilation openings, giving the vehicle a dynamic aesthetic. Side features include clean lines, a floating side mirror, and hidden door handles for a sleek, modern look. Enhanced aerodynamics contribute to a low drag coefficient of 0.206 Cd, thanks to improvements across 20 points in the design.

The P7+ measures 5,056 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, 1,512 mm in height, with a 3,000 wheelbase.

Inside, the XPENG P7+ features a wraparound cockpit with a 15.6-inch floating center display and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin is powered by the Snapdragon 8295P chip from Qualcomm and XPENG's Tianji XOS 5.4.0 system, enabling smooth intelligent interaction. Ergonomic Nappa leather seats provide heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

The P7+ debuts XPENG's advanced AI Hawkeye Vision Solution, featuring an 8MP camera with HDR capabilities, ten times clearer than the human eye, supporting highway and urban intelligent driving assistance without reliance on LiDAR or high-definition maps.

Equipped with 11 cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and two NVIDIA Orin-X chips providing 508 TOPS of computing power, the P7+ can recognize 49 obstacle types, as well as traffic lights and road signs.

All P7+ version are powered by a single-motor setup offering 180 kW or 230 kW battery capacity options with lithium iron phosphate battery packs providing ranges of 602 km to 710 km. Future OTA updates will further extend range capabilities.
