Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Chery Holding reported record export volume of 111,922 vehicles in October 2024, marking an 18.8% year-on-year increase. Cumulative exports for the first ten months of the year reached 941,275 units, up 23.8% from last year, positioning the company to surpass the one-million-unit export milestone this month.

Chery Holding's global footprint continues to expand, with over 15.1 million vehicles already sold worldwide, including more than 4.2 million units overseas. For 22 consecutive years, Chery has led Chinese passenger car brands by exports, demonstrating its commitment to a global strategy with the principles of "In China, For Global" and "In Somewhere, For Somewhere."

Under these principles, Chery tailors its products to meet diverse international markets rather than simply replicating Chinese offerings abroad. By adapting its vehicles to local regulations, competitive demands, and unique consumer needs, Chery provides customized options for global buyers. Its technological prowess ensures that products are tested under varied conditions worldwide to meet diverse market requirements.

Chery Holding's export lineup includes both new energy and traditional fuel models, catering to distinct market demands. Notably, models like the Tiggo 7, Tiggo 8, Jetour Traveler, and Jetour X70 have garnered strong sales in multiple international markets.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
