Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 6, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand jointly developed by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially opened its first showroom in Thailand and completed the delivery of over 100 units of the AVATR 11 model to local customers.

In September, AVATR launched the right-hand-drive version of the AVATR 11 in Thailand, offering two configurations: a standard-range model priced at 2,099,000 THB (approximately 447,000 yuan) and a long-range version at 2,299,000 THB (around 489,000 yuan). For comparison, the 2024 AVATR 11 starts at 300,800 yuan in China.

Thailand serves as a strategic entry point for AVATR's international expansion, aiming to extend its reach throughout Southeast Asia and right-hand-drive markets globally. AVATR holds expansion plans in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, aiming to enter over 40 countries and set up more than 90 authorized stores. By 2025, AVATR plans to operate in 50 countries across five continents, establishing more than 100 official overseas showrooms.

The brand has already made inroads into markets like the UAE, Mexico, and Qatar as part of its broader international ambitions.
