Dongfeng Motor's NEV sales surge 82.3% YoY in Jan.-Oct. 2024

From January to October 2024, Dongfeng Motor reported total vehicle sales of 2.01 million units, demonstrating notable growth across key sectors, according to the company's announcement on October 4.

Beijing (Gasgoo)- From January to October 2024, Dongfeng Motor reported total vehicle sales of 2.01 million units, demonstrating notable growth across key sectors, according to the company's announcement on October 4.

In the first ten months of this year, Dongfeng Motor's cumulative sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached around 700,000 units, marking an 82.3% year-over-year surge.

Dongfeng Motor's self-owned brands contributed significantly to the overall performance, with sales totaling 1.11 million vehicles in the Jan.-Oct. period, jumping 40.2% compared to the same period last year.

The company also made strides in overseas markets, exporting 202,000 vehicles in the first ten months of 2024, representing a 12.2% rise year-over-year.

On October 24, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH put the global edition of the VOYAH Zhiyin, named "Courage" onto three European markets, including Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The Courage is priced at approximately 270,000 yuan to 430,000 yuan in these markets. A day prior, on October 23, VOYAH had held a brand launch event in Slovenia, featuring both the Courage and the VOYAH FREE models.
