**Netherlands-based ASM International Reports Higher-than-Expected Orders in Q3**
SMM reported on November 1 that Dutch semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASM International reported revenues of €778.6 million for the third quarter, exceeding analysts' expectations of €764.1 million. The company received orders totaling €815.3 million in Q3, higher than analysts' forecasts of €768.2 million. ASM International's operating profit margin for the quarter stood at 27.6%, surpassing analysts' projections of 25.7%. Additionally, the gross profit margin for Q3 was 49.4%, compared to analysts' estimates of 48.5%. Notably, the company's order intake of €815.3 million in Q3 was also above analysts' expectations of €768.2 million.
