[MOFCOM: Export Quota Administration for Phosphate Rock and Silver Suspended Again in 2025, with Export License Administration Implemented Instead] The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has announced the total export quotas for goods in 2025. For 2025, the export quotas for licorice and licorice products, artificially cultivated ephedra for medicinal use, live pigs (to Hong Kong and Macao), live cattle (to Hong Kong and Macao), live chickens (to Hong Kong), sawn timber, Chinese mat rush and Chinese mat rush products are set at 5.2 million kilograms, 1.083 million kilograms, 161.04 kilograms, 28,000 heads, 3 million heads, 100,000 cubic meters, and 17 million kilograms, respectively. In 2025, the export quota administration for phosphate rock and silver will continue to be suspended, with export license administration implemented instead. Foreign trade operators eligible to export phosphate rock or silver can apply for export licenses based on valid export contracts for goods (exports of silver under processing trade are handled as stipulated), and use the export licenses to clear customs and obtain release manuals for the exported goods.
