Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 29, Geely's premium new energy vehicle brand ZEEKR officially announced the nationwide public testing of its latest Haohan 2.0 smart driving system, featuring HD map-free urban NZP (Navigation ZEEKR Pilot) function, set to begin on October 31.

Previously introduced in August on the 2025 ZEEKR 001 and ZEEKR 007 models, the technology has since received a city commuting mode update in September, enabling daily route automation for a more seamless driving experience.

The new urban NZP-commute mode allows users to set specific daily routes, which the vehicle learns and memorizes over time, enabling automatic navigation on frequently traveled paths. This HD map-free system is designed for nationwide adaptability, ideal for routine commutes across various cities without dependency on high-definition maps.

On October 23, ZEEKR also launched the ZEEKR MIX model, which comes standard with LiDAR sensors, dual NIVIDIA Orin-X chips, and the proprietary Haohan 2.0 smart driving system. With capabilities for remote intelligent parking and HD map-free NZP, the ZEEKR MIX further enhances the company's intelligent driving suite.

ZEEKR's urban NZP-commute mode aims to cover over 80% of users' daily travel scenarios, prioritizing convenience and driving intelligence. As the Haohan 2.0 technology evolves, ZEEKR plans to expand functionality towards a fully automated, point-to-point driving experience.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
