Slight Rise in China's Copper Inventories, Yet Weekly Decline of 9,600 Tonnes Recorded by SMM

[SMM Weekly Data on Copper Inventories in Major Regions] As of Thursday, October 24, copper inventories in major regions across China tracked by SMM increased slightly by 200 tonnes from Monday to 219,600 tonnes, still 54,100 tonnes higher than pre-holiday levels. However, a weekly decline in inventories was achieved this week, albeit a modest one of only 9,600 tonnes. Compared to Monday's inventory levels, the vast majority of regions across the country saw a decrease in inventories, with only Shanghai experiencing an increase.
