Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chongqing CLOUDCHILD Technology Co., Ltd. ("CLOUDCHILD Technology") recently announced the completion of its Series B1 financing round, which raised tens of millions of yuan.

The funding will primarily be used to accelerate the development of new applications and products, scale up mass production of existing offerings, and support domestic new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers in localizing and securing their supply chains.

CLOUDCHILD Technology noted that successfully securing financing in the current economic environment reflects investors’ confidence in the company's strategic planning, product roadmap, business model, and core team.

As a fabless semiconductor company focusing on automotive-grade power chips, modules, and drive system solutions, CLOUDCHILD Technology has built a fully self-reliant supply chain in the Chinese Mainland, covering R&D, design, wafer production, packaging, and application development.

The company offers two key product lines: power devices (IGBT transistors and modules, high/low-voltage MOSFETs and modules) and analog ICs (LDO, HSD, CAN). These products are deployed in critical automotive systems such as main drive inverters, chassis, thermal management, and body electronics, serving nearly 200 vehicle models. CLOUDCHILD is also expanding into innovative fields like energy storage, robotics, and drones, with mass production and delivery underway.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
