Beijing (Gasgoo)- On October 20, Dongfeng Nissan officially released the Qashqai Glory, a refreshed version of its popular Qashqai model, onto the market. The new model introduces significant updates to both its exterior and interior, with a focus on enhancing the in-car experience through advanced technology.

The Qashqai Glory is powered by SemiDrive’s X9 series cockpit chip, featuring a 12.3-inch high-definition central control screen. This system brings five major upgrades in interface design, voice control, navigation, light apps, and AIoT smart connectivity, offering users a more intelligent and versatile driving experience.

The SemiDrive X9 series integrates a high-performance CPU, GPU, AI accelerator, video processor, as well as multiple communication and audio-video interfaces. It meets the demanding computational and communication requirements of next-generation smart cockpit applications.

Thanks to the X9 chip, the Qashqai Glory’s infotainment system features a smooth, high-definition interface. This includes remote control, intelligent voice commands, real-time navigation, and online entertainment. The system supports OTA updates and features an intuitive UI/UX design, enabling easy switching between map and wallpaper displays and quick app access to enhance safety and convenience.

The Qashqai Glory represents a new outcome under the successful partnership between SemiDrive and Dongfeng Nissan, following previous collaborations on models like the Venucia VX6, Nissan Sylphy, and Nissan Altima.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
