Beijing (Gasgoo)- On the evening of October 21, Changan Auto’s new energy vehicle brand NEVO officially put the NEVO E07 onto the market. It comes with seven variants, including four pure electric and three range-extended versions, priced between 199,900 yuan and 319,900 yuan.

As the first model built on Changan's SDA architecture, the NEVO E07 emphasizes digitalization and intelligence.

With a futuristic design, the NEVO E07 features a closed-off front grille, a full-width headlight, and a blacked-out lower bumper. It measures 5,045 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and offers three height options—1,640 mm, 1,665 mm, and 1,695 mm—with a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, and a five-seat layout.

The NEVO E07 is positioned as a premium large intelligent electric SUV. It is also a variable-form vehicle, offering adjustable shape, functionality, and software.

For driving enthusiasts, the NEVO E07 can transform into a sports sedan using adjustable air suspension, with a ride height that lowers to just 127 mm to reduce drag to a sedan-like 0.237 Cd. The suspension also adjusts automatically based on speed for better efficiency.

For utility-focused users, the NEVO E07 can transform into a pickup, with a sliding rear roof exposing an unrestricted cargo space, ideal for bulky items during camping or moving.

The NEVO E07 runs on an 800V high-voltage platform, with 2WD and 4WD options. The 2WD version offers 252 kW of maximum power, while the 4WD adds a 188/252 kW dual-motor setup, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4 seconds. Battery-powered range varies between 551 km and 1,000 km CLTC, with a 15-minute charge providing 365 km of range.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
