Fuding Times' 5th Factory Breaks Ground, Boosting Lithium-Ion Battery Industry to RMB100 Billion Mark and Fueling Ningde's 'Trillion-Dollar Era' Push

On October 21, the construction of the 5th factory of Fuding Times officially commenced, marking a new step forward for the development of Fuding's lithium-ion battery new energy industry with a value of RMB100 billion, and fully integrating into the strategic deployment of Ningde's "Trillion-Dollar Era", becoming an important part of building Ningde into the "World's Lithium Battery Capital" and a globally renowned industrial city.

The lithium-ion battery production base project of Fuding Times, located in Qianqi Town, Fuding City, is the largest single project that CATL has deployed globally so far, with an output value exceeding RMB100 billion. It encompasses Factories 1 to 5, occupying an area of 2,932 acres, including Cell Factories 1 to 3 and Super Cell Factories 4 and 5. The first phase has a total construction area of 19 million square meters, with four cell factories, three module factories, and supporting facilities such as houses, warehouses, canteens, and dormitories, creating approximately 10,000 jobs.
