Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 18, XPENG's Chairman He Xiaopeng said that the first batch of XPENG P7+ vehicles has officially rolled off the production line at the company's Guangzhou plant, with deliveries already en route to stores nationwide.

The P7+ made a strong debut at the Paris Motor Show 2024 on October 14, where it officially went on sale starting at 209,800 yuan. The vehicle received an overwhelming response, securing more than 30,000-unit orders within just two hours.

In terms of design, the XPENG P7+ maintains the brand's signature look, featuring the recognizable "Robot Face" front end and a full-width LED light bar, reinforcing its strong visual identity. The front lights sport an X-shaped design, and the streamlined front profile enhances the vehicles striking presence.

The P7+ model measures 5,056mm in length, 1,937mm in width, and 1,512mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm.

Inside, the XPENG P7+ adopts a minimalist design similar to the XPENG X9, with a 15.6-inch central control screen. The vehicle comes standard with premium materials across the entire lineup, including perforated Nappa leather, an ultra-suede roof liner, and OEKO-TEX 100-certified, baby-safe water-based leather. Both front and rear seats offer massage, heating, and ventilation functions. The car also introduces six intelligent, scenario-based massage settings, ensuring a consistent level of comfort for all passengers.

On the technology front, the P7+ is XPENG's first vehicle to feature the AI Hawkeye Visual Solution, which enhances information capture, offering greater accuracy, clarity, and range compared to traditional cameras.

As for performance, the XPENG P7+ comes in a single-motor version, offering two power outputs: 180kW and 230kW. It is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, available in 60.7kWh and 76.3kWh capacities.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
